Chilton AC's mission is to support and enhance youth athletics for the benefit of the Chilton community
Chilton AC's are a non-profit organization funded by proceeds of the Nennig Park concession stand, Brewfest food stand, an annual bowling tournament, the sale of 50/50 raffle tickets at Chilton High School(CHS) football and basketball games and private donations. These funds are used for baseball diamond maintenance and improvements, equipment purchases,youth sports tournament fees,the Chilton Legion and adult men's baseball teams,CHS athletic scholarships, Bowling scholarships, Morrisey Park donation, Morrisey Field improvements, Chilton Fire Department, Special Olympics, CHS Dance team, CHS Wall of Honor, and many other local projects, programs and activities.
Chilton AC's operate the youth baseball and softball program in Chilton for children up to grade 8; the AC's have exclusive use of Nennig Park for these programs. The City of Chilton owns the park property and the AC's have funded and constructed everything that sits on this land including the concession stand, baseball diamonds and fencing. The AC’s are in charge of maintaining the facilities/fields (volunteers to cut grass, coach, work the stand, etc). In addition the club provides guidance, leadership, coaching and financial assistance to teams for league and tournament play as well as supporting other teams that need financial assistance. Club membership is open to all persons in the community, 18 or older, who desire to support and enhance youth athletics. Monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at Ethel's Pub or Nennig Park (weather permitting)
